Extra Curricular Activities
1. Skating:
Skating is a great confidence booster. They learn that they can do something they once thought was impossible, which can carry over into other areas of their lives. Skating helps kids develop a sense of balance and coordination. They learn how to control their speed and direction and stop and start smoothly. These are essential skills for any activity, not just skating!
2. Western dance:
JMJ encourages children to be more creative and to express themselves in many ways most importantly through Western Dance. By encouraging creativity and imagination, children learn to build trust, effective relationships, and how to think critically. Early childhood is the best period for the development of creativity, and creative problem solving will serve your child for life.
3. Karnatic music:
Music is an extremely critical subject at schools as it leads to better brain development, increases human connection, improves grades, helps to socialise, and even lowers stress levels.
4. Vedic maths:
Vedic mathematics helps in faster and accurate mental calculations. One can solve any difficult equation in addition, division, multiplication, algebra, trigonometry, square, square root, cube, cube root only by mental calculations. So JMJ provides this kind of unique opportunities for students as today’s era is the fastest growing & ever changing.
5. Chess:
Chess trains logical thinking and memory and teaches children how to deal with defeat. In other words, chess is a metaphor for life. 6. Taekwondo: Taekwondo improves focus, concentration, and can increase self-confidence and self-esteem within students. Taekwondo can help children become healthier in all aspects of their lives.
